From their ceremony at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Old Town, to portraits along Lake Michigan, and a reception at the historic InterContinental Chicago, the day had a timeless feel.

A Beautiful Ceremony at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Old Town

With its soaring ceilings, ornate details, and historic architecture, St. Michael's is a beautiful setting for a traditional Catholic wedding. The church has a presence that makes even the simplest moments feel significant.

Surrounded by family and friends, Jillian and William celebrated their marriage in a setting that felt both grand and deeply personal.

One of the most meaningful sentiments from the ceremony came from a father, who spoke about choosing each other every single day. It's a simple idea, but one that carries a lot of weight when thinking about marriage. Beyond the wedding itself, love is something that continues to be built through the everyday decisions two people make together.

A First Look and Portraits Along Lake Michigan

Jillian and William also shared a first look, giving them an opportunity to see each other before the ceremony. One of our favorite visual moments from their wedding film, however, came during their portraits along Lake Michigan.

With the Chicago skyline stretching behind them and the lake opening up beside them, the setting created some particularly beautiful images. The soft blue tones of the water, sky, and surrounding city gave everything a light, airy feeling.

An Elegant Reception at InterContinental Chicago

The celebration continued at the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile. Known for its historic interiors and grand event spaces, the InterContinental was a fitting location for this reception.

The celebration brought together an extensive vendor team to create an elegant evening for the couple and their guests.

Florals from Bonnie Bee Flowers and event decor from Satin Chair helped shape the reception's overall presentation, while Bittersweet Pastry Shop provided the wedding cake, and the Cannoli Boys brought great amazing vibes to the dance floor and even better cannolis.

Entertainment from Bluewater Kings Band brought music to the celebration, with Avital Limousine and Party Bus handling transportation throughout the day.

With so many family members and loved ones involved in the celebration, the reception was an opportunity for everyone to come together.
